Homeopathy is a safe and effective addition to any treatment plan.
It works by stimulating the body's natural ability to self-heal, rather than suppressing your symptoms like most conventional treatments. By working with your body’s innate healing mechanisms homeopathy is a natural solution to speed the healing of physical ailments and address mental/emotional concerns.
Dr. Wendlandt has extensive training in classical, Hahnemannian homeopathy. Each remedy is individualized and is selected specifically for you and your unique set of symptoms.
Diet and Nutrition
Eating a healthy diet is foundational for optimal wellness. But there is no "one size fits all diet". Knowing what to eat can be confusing, especially with so much conflicting advice out there. Let me help advise the best diet for your specific health needs.
Naturopathic doctors receive approximately 150 hours of nutritional training, where the average for standard medical schools is 20.
It is my joy to educate patients about diet, eating, and lifestyle changes that promote overall wellness.
Lifestyle Medicine
One of my biggest passions is teaching my patients about living in accordance with nature.
This includes proper sleep, eating habits, breathing, movement, and stress reduction.

In addition to diet and lifestyle adjustments, additional support is there to achieve optimal health outcomes. I utilize nutritional and herbal supplementation to balance deficiencies, tonify organ systems, and even minimize side effects of medications.
Thyroid medication and bio-identical hormones are available for patients when indicated.
Although I elect for natural therapies when possible, it is within my scope as a physician to prescribe a wide scope of medications as well.
